Governing Body

       The governing Body of the college is the highest administrative body which provides the necessary guidelines for the smooth conduct of its administrative affairs. The Principal in his capacity as the head of the institution and secretary to the Governing Body, carries out the resolutions adopted at its meetings. The Governing Body, apart from other members, has proportional representation from the Teaching and the Non- Teaching staff of the college. Thus even at the highest level of administration the college has a system of participative management.

Internal quality Assurance Cell (I.Q.A.C)

       The college has an Internal quality Assurance Cell constituted of representatives from the Governing Body ,Teaching and the Non- Teaching staff and one member from the Students’ Union to monitor and enhance continually the quality of performance in every department of administrative and academic activity. The objective of this cell is to ensure quality education to the students by encouraging student participation, adopting best practices and innovations for a comprehensive structural and functional growth of the institution.

NAAC Coordinating Body

       The college has a special body to prepare it for a rigorous quality judgement process by National assessment and Accreditation Council, an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission. This body, chaired by the Principal, consists of representatives from the Teaching and the Non- Teaching staff of the College. The Secretary of the Students’ in also one of its members.

Placement Cell

       The Placement Cell consists of two senior professors as the head and they provide necessary guidelines to the student teachers to get succeed in their interview, Usually, on campus interview will be held at the month of March-April every year in our Institution. Many schools in and around Virudhunagar like Sri Vidya Matriculation School, R.J.Mantra English School, P.S.C Senior English School, Kshatriya Vidyasala Matriculation School and Rotary Matriculation School have conducted on campus interview in our College and they have selected many students from our institution.

Alumni Association

       The College has a Alumni Association organizes the annual meeting of the former students. It helps to provide financial assistance and issue of books those who need in the subsequent years. It serves as an effective mechanism in having feedback on the progression of the former and outgoing students into different walk of life.

CitizenshipTraining Camp:

       Citizenship Training Camp gives exposure to community work. During the citizenship training, the students go to nearby villages and adopt a village for a week’s time and do the community work. The students stay all the seven days in a week in the village and interact with the villagers and community in depth. They are in consultation with the local people serve for the welfare of the community.

Sports and games

       The college has always encouraged its students to organize and participate in sporting activities both inside and outside the college. The student union under the guidance of a Sports committee comprising of teaching, non-teaching staff and students and headed by the Principal plays a pivotal role in organizing its sporting events.

       An Annual sports meet, the students as well as the teachers and the staff were participated is held with great enthusiasm. A common room tournament organized where competitions in Carrom, Table Tennis , Chess etc. are also held every year. In addition the college regularly participates in tournaments organized by other organizations and University..

Laboratory and Equipment

       The college has well equipped laboratories for the Departments of Physical Science, Biological Science, Psychology, Mathematics, Computer Science and language lab. It has also adequate number of equipments like slide projector, Video Camera, OHP, LCD Projector and other audio-visual aids to make use of whenever necessary for the benefit of students. We are having 5 Mbps Wi-max VPN Internet Connectivity in our College.

Functions and Cultural Activities:

       The college observes the Republic day, Pongal festival, New year, Independence Day and Founder’s Birth day in every year. Annual Social function is also organized after the puja vacation. The college has an active cultural committee, under the guidance of the committee a number of cultural functions including Vijayathasami, Vinayagar Sathurthi etc. are held. The students, teaching and Non teaching staff members of the college are encouraged to participate in these functions. Apart from these the cultural committee prepares the students for the different cultural competitions in which they represent the college. The first position of our college at the inter-college Mathematics Quiz competition at Annammal College during 2011-2012 and our college students have participated in Kalai Sangamam 2013 which was held at V.H.N.S.N Arts and Science College, Virudhunagar and won rolling trophy during 2012-2013 are the recent achievements.
